Editing in Virtual Production

I spent the day in a virtual production studio for a NIVEA shoot. The LED walls kept shifting through different environments while I was editing directly on set.

Footage came in as we shot, so I cut the first sequences while the next setups were already happening. People walked by, gave brief notes, and moved on. It was straightforward and surprisingly efficient. Working inside the virtual stage made the whole process feel more connected. No hand-offs, no waiting — just shooting and shaping at the same time.

I left the studio with the sense that this workflow makes a lot of practical sense. I’d be happy to do more projects like this.
