This project stands out to me mostly because of the sound. Alexander Wolf did the sound design and music, and working with him turned the post process into one of the most enjoyable back-and-forths I've had on a product film.
We spent a lot of time bouncing AAFs back and forth, trading notes on his stems, nudging the edit to match a musical cue he'd found, or reshaping a cue around a beat I wanted to land. That kind of collaboration, where the edit and the sound design are genuinely shaping each other instead of just meeting at the finish line, is rare, and it's all over this piece.
Occhio's product speaks for itself, but I think the sound in this case is what makes it shine.
