Verivox Director's Cut

This one's a bit of a tale of two edits. The client version went out exactly as you'd expect – clean, on-brand, doing its job. But parallel to that, we put together a Director's Cut that spiraled into something gloriously unhinged: a full-blown Japanese Karaoke fever dream that has almost nothing in common with the spot that aired.

Comparing the two side by side is honestly my favorite part of this project. Same footage, same campaign, wildly different tone – one built for mass audiences, the other built to entertain us in the edit suite. Getting to stretch both muscles on the same material was a reminder of why I love this job.

The Director's Cut isn't going to win any awards at Cannes, but it made everyone in the room laugh, and sometimes that's the whole point.
